We have chemo tomorrow. We originally had it scheduled for today - Inauguration Day. We both told Dr. M, no way. Not only was traffic going to be a nightmare, but we came to find out they actually closed roads into DC. So, thankfully we were able to resched.
Scott, Annette, Pat and Mary went into the city. My friend, Holly, was kind enough to get us tickets to the Democratic Leadership Council private party at Old Ebbit's Grill which is right on the parade route. Even though it was super cold, Scott loves history too much to miss it. I am glad he went.
It is so cool to live so close to DC today. You can feel the spirit and hope in the air.
